I personally feel that a degree is a degree, no matter where you get it. However, it depends on the person and how well they use there knowledge in the real world after.
My Other question is what is soo bad about Ryerson? Please do not post stuff about reputation or how it was a college before, those are bull reasons. |

[You will NEVER see a UofT student resorting to writing out whiny paragraphs such as this one to defend their school. UofT sells itself, tell anyone you go to UofT and you don't have to walk with your head down in shame like this Ryerson student who has to talk himself up over the internet so he can sleep better at night. UofT and Queens graduates get the best, highest paying jobs around.]
LMAO u just resorted to writing a whiny paragraph.
Also I will defend Ryerson you have absolutely no back bone in your paragraph explaining your view on exactly why Ryerson is a bad university. Your just trying to cus me off. [/quote] |

| I was once a proud notable Ryerson student. I wore a Ryerson t shirt while shopping at Vaughn mills and some guy came up to me and said "wow you go Ryerson? its too bad you flunk in highschool". I asked him what school you go to he said Queens. I was ashamed of myself. I ran back into my car and that was the last time I wore a Ryerson T-shirt. I took it off and burned it. |

Don't expect to be hired just because your resume mentions UFT.
Employers can read you through your teeth. Arrogant candidates expecting the world just because you came from UFT needs a reality check.
i've hired UFT graduates and Ryerson graduates and some from Queens. I've also fired UFT/Queens graduates for thinking they are the shit. Ryerson and College/University transfers often work harder and are more driven and innovative (based on numbers and experience i've come accross)
You must back up your place of schooling with accomplishments, experience, presentation and drive.
Don't get me wrong - i respect all university educated workers. But if you have to rant about which school is better and you have nothing to show for it then- expect to fail in life.
I'm a Ryerson ITM graduate (in 2008) with a $75K job and booming career, condo at Bayview/Sheppard, drive a Benz, and a super hot gf. life is beautiful. |

Well I`m a highschool student and its amazing how immature university students are This is even worse than highschool kind of pathetic I was looking for helpful information and google brought this up..
I was accepted to Queens, Waterloo, Laurier, Western, Ryerson, Carleton and U of T. It`s not about your university its about your career path, all universities have different programs to offer.
For example, a Journalism degree from Ryerson is much better than one from UTSC. Then again a buisness degree from U of T is better known than one from Ryerson. But then again York`s Schulich program leaves the business programs at U of T in the dust.
Then you have personal preference, one of my friends got Schulich but hates York and would perfer to move away from home. She is doing a math program at Waterloo because she`d like to move away.
Thats just how it is, you dont have a useless degree just because you go to Ryerson, perhaps U of T is better but that hardly makes Ryerson `inferior. If this is how adults act then I don`t ever want to grow up... |

Obviously you are a high schooler, Schulich has SUCKED for the last 10 years. Your friend was smart to go to Waterloo for math. |
