Amen to that. Prestige whores rarely accomplish anything in life and die of the bitterness at how they've become such losers.

I couldn't get into College, so I went to university. End of discussion.

Hey there bitter-mellon, perhaps you should head back to college to make yourself useful to society? Your stint at university wasn't very fruitful, so suck it up. Better luck in your next life a-hole.

My comment was directed at the initial comment which mocks colleges, and is not intended to mock universities. I believe both types of post secondary education are inadequate in terms of education, and that general knowledge should be the focus, not specialization. Your fanatic belief in the prestige of university is also not "fruitful", as your comments lack the style and articulation that are expected of a university student. Therefore I shall disregard your comment as both vulgar and unsubstantial. Nice use of the word stint though, hah.

Why mock colleges when your own university education is "inadequate", and to the point you need to put down college students to make yourself feel better?

College is for losers. Period. You will be the laughing stock of life. You will lose any friends you once had other than other losers like yourself. You will always be a "college loser" out in the work world. College has NO respect and is for complete idiots only. Anyone defending college is definitely a college loser themself.

Name me one successful person who graduated in College, and is making millions. Name me a person who graduated from college who has won the noble peace prize? None. A big fat jelly donut. Colleges get you jobs. Universities get you careers. That's the difference.

You're mistaken buddy, there is no need to attend university or college to get a noble prize. Its your skill and dedication.

Rabindranath Tagore did not go to any school and won the noble prize.

So shut up and take ur high school courses kid!!!

Dude, there's nothing wrong with being a prestige whore. At least having prestige gets you somewhere than if you had none.

The ignorance and abuse in this thread is pathetic. Degrading people for where they attend post-secondary education, whether it be a university or college, is pitiable. Having this type of behaviour and mindset can be dangerous; it will be embedded into your thought process for the rest of your lives. It's unfortunate that once you're on your deathbed (unless you experience the slight chance of dying in a horrific car fire, or similar), only then will you realize life isn't about $$ or where the hell you went to school as a youngster.

Seriously. Just go with the flow and let life take you where it leads, and stop judging and alienating people based on futile credentials that don't even affect you.

Follow your dreams, don't just let life take you where it may. You gotta make your own opportunities, open your own doors even though it may be easier to just "go with the flow". Open your own doors. Set goals and work towards them.
