I've graduated from both schools with an undergrad at Mac and a Master's at Queen's.

In the top 2 teirs of Ontario Universities, tyou can't generally say one is better than the other entirely, it's program by program.

Queen's will give you a better business education, I would put them equal for engineering. Mac has the best Health Sci undergrad in Canada but you'll have no life if you go there and there's very little chance of getting in.

For social sciences/humanities, it is what it is. Most people with these degrees are going to go to grad school if they want a good job anwyay, you you need decent marks and a personality.

I wouldn't say Queen's just has white guys. It's pretty multicultural. Kingston, yeah mostly white people by a long shot, but the university is legitimately diverse. there's a lto fo drinkgin at both schools, as there is at any school but I found that at McMaster there were more peopel who couldn;t care less abotu school and were drunk or otehrwise altered probably 5 nights/week. At Queen's, people generally temper their partying to ensure that they get their work done. More peopel seem to study, do theri readings, etc at Queen's. For some these characteristics migth make one more prefereable over the other...all depends what you're into.

I graduated from Mac engineering in '07 and still can't find a damn job. It seems like employers hire U of T and Waterloo engineers only.
