I am applying to U of T Physical and Mathematical Sciences in St. George's campus, and I have to rank colleges.

Can someone please comment on the following:

Innis College
New College
St Michael's College
Trinity College
University College
Victoria College
Woodsworth College

Thanks in advance,

I am a McGill student, and I don't respect any one of those colleges except for the Trinity College.

There's no easy way to rank the colleges. I'm not a big fan of Victoria (few are). Trinity has nice buildings but I haven't been in their dorms. St Mike's is nice but on the far side of campus and segregated by sex. New College is the best if you are a pothead. Woodsworth has a great new rez and probably the best student services but it is also the college most part-time and business students are at so the average age is higher. Innis is good overall and very popular with girls (for some reason). University College has cool architecture and is central but the dorms aren't as nice as others. If you are on a budget, University College has some dorms that are as spartan as monk cells but are about 50% cheaper than the rest (they have some cool townhouse style too if you are into that). For a wider range of opinions ask at Studentawards. If you want Animal House style dorm life you need to join a Greek society.

Uh yeah, if you are Muslim go to the former Catholic seminary college that has crucifixes in every room. You know, the college that actually holds seminars on "can Islam adapt to the modern world?" and "how far should Canada go to enforce equal rights in the Middle East?"

This ain't Montreal! The MSA isn't out of control here.

In Montreal, Arabs have more rights than any other ethnicities. Every shop, every restaurant is owned by Arabs. And in every governmental building, more than 80% of the officers are Arab. We want equality in Montreal, too. Crying or Very sad

The Greek societies. Believe it or not but UofT is full of frats and sororities. Join a college like Innis (or any college that has dorms you like - look them up, each college has a website) and then go to all the rush parties.
