Hi !
I have been reading dozens of topics on this forums as I'm looking for information about undergraduate unis in business for an exchange from a french school. It seems impossible to make a real ranking and every post makes me more confused. Some say John Molson is a good place, not so far from McGill, even if going through trolling is hard. And on this ranking-topic no way to find it ! Could someone give me serious contribution in answer to my questioning ?
Therefore I've read that concordia has an issue about the choice between french and english language for its education because of the high number of frenchies ? Is it true or is English now the only and only one official language of Concordia ?
Last-but-one question : I don't know anything about Montréal, is Concordia in a specifically-english-speaking area ?
Last one : what to think about University of Alberta ? It Seems it is top-5 overall but it appears that concerns engineering, what's its reputation for undergrad economy-business ?
Thanks for your time |

Hey, Concordia is definitely in top 10, and most probably in top 3 or 4. OP must have forgotten to include it. I am a McGill student (not business) and I know this is a fact. Concordia business is not as selective as McGill business, but it is better and respected at least as much as McgILL business. |

Thanks for the answer.
Perhaps we'll see each othernext year then. I think I would choose McGill on JMBS because the international reputation of the former, Resume first ! Are those two unis distant ? |

Those two universities are VERY close, within 5 minutes of walking distance. Yes, I would also choose McGill with no second thought. You can always take classes at Concordia if there is a famous prof there you like. In case you cannot get in McGill, Concordia is definitely a great choice, especially if you live in Quebec. Otherwise, for out of province students and especially for international students, I would recommend McGill. |

I'm french by the way, but I won't go to McGill finally. Places have already been taken. So Concordia or York. The latter seems great and fits to my will to be in a really english-speaking place (with no tempting choice of french-speaking ) but I've read the cost of living is much higher. |
