You've probably been out of school for like 15 years and had to crawl up from 27K! I was hired right out of school, making 75K a year! UofT grads get the best, highest paying jobs around! Ryerson students have to go through a period of homelessness and pathetic pay before even being able to make a meager living, if they even get that far! |
LOL. You're a UofT graduate, supposing you're smart. From the looks of it, you've already graduated from school, now working in the real world. You still make time in your day to fight with people who are in University right now and still diss other schools, very mature.
I hope you know there are program at UofT that you can literally wipe your as* with, as with any other university. I go to UofT and I can honestly say people like you who have fun dissing other schools surprise me and the amount of maturity you have grown with. Good luck with your life, you're going to need it. |
But, he's was making 75K right out of graduation! Ryerson graduates are janitors at best, and human shields in the army at worst! All employers everywhere will hire a UofT graduate over a Ryerson graduate, should have tried harder in high school you dumb pieces of shit, you dug your own graves. |

| When you hear someone mentioning, the REAL WORLD, thats a RYE HIGH STUDENT. Rye high students relgiously engrave those two words REAL WORLD into their head, when a UofT student ask hey why you go to Ryerson? because I want to be ready for the REAL WORLD, since Ryerson gives you the REAL DEAL. I have to be honest though, Ryerson is one of the best Colleges that offer degrees but are actual diplomas. You get hands on training(just like college), you promote practical over theory(just like college), your campus looks shiet(just like a highschool), your located in the heart of downtown but you can't manage to attract Canada's brightest students(only for the rejects). Its okay if your a Ryerson student, may be your offsprings will go to better schools. |

It's funny how many aerospace companies say that they would prefer Ryerson grads than UofT students because tehy do not know how to do their shit at work. I would hear stories and would just laugh.
The main reason for the Aerospace Undergraduate is to condition students the rules of thumb in the trade.
I was in a case study competition around the start of my 2nd year. This mechanical engineering master's student from McGill I believe proposed to frame the helicopter blades to stop its vibration...and we were just laughing. The idiot completely missed the fact that the vibration of the blades are the main source of the lift.
Another thing, we corrected Bell Helicopter's main personnel about how an airfoil produces lift. They said that the particles that were close together that got split by leading edge somehow meet each other at the trailing edge so therefore the particle from the upper surface would travel faster to meet up with the particle it was with at the starting point when clearly experimental results disproves this.
We pointed out that the lift is the result of a pressure difference caused by different cross sectional area of the streamtubes.
All of this happened way before I have even reached the 3rd year of my fluid dynamics and thermodyamics courses. How is that for Ryerson students.
If you are going to bash more, I look down on everyone in high school for being dumb. I have the Governor General's award for the highest average and have the most number of academic awards when I graduated. Stupid people I know who couldn't graduate with me that year went on and got accepted to UofT. I know friends who cannot even write a paragraph in 4 ****ing hours in personality theories in a psychology program and calls for my help despite being in engineering. Rye students do not suck. The fact is, we allow stupid people to get in and steal their useless loans so that we can fund those who really need it.
I also know people who have a master's degree from UofT who ended up as teachers in a poor highschool. |

| All my Ryerson friends graduated as garbage mans. They told me Ryerson has the best hands on experience for Waste management. Ryerson helps me prepare for the REAL world. So when you get out of College you will have 1-2 years worth of experience. If it wasn't for Ryerson students, who would pick up my garbage? |

It really means nothing even if you got highest average and academic awards in canada...I am serious...Don't be so arrogant!! Canadian educational system is not that fair. Some schools are damn too hard while some schools are way too easy. It only shows that you are a hard working student and maybe somewhat smarter than the average students. But it doesn't necessarily mean you are bright and genious. I know two friends of mine, who are now currently studying in MIT for electrical engineering and chemical engineering. Both of them won gold medal in International Mathematical Olympiad Do you think you are brighter than them? I bet you don't even know what International Mathematical Olympiad is because you are never bright enough to participate that. Don't be living in your so-called "pathetic glory" They are many smart people out there so don't be ignorant.. I really don't like your showy attitude!! |

| guys trust me MCMASTER UNIVERSITY HAMILTON ONTARIO SUCKS BIG TIME. Their registar is a fcuking idiot i swear and the university plain sucks. They have some easy profs and many hard ones too, but the administration plain sucks, and their degree has no value in the real world. Not going to get you anywhere. It's a 2nd-tier university. |

Hello,
I'm a ryerson grad, I don't think McMaster is a second tier university. Remember McMaster is part of the 10 universities in Canada that have intensive research capabilities, something that Ryerson doesn't offer.
McMaster is also in posession of (a part of) Einstein's brain hehehe. So my take would be if they can study his brain , the university must learn something from him.
McMaster definitely top 10 in Canada.
However it all depends on the individual, school is a reflection of one's efforts, not one's capabilities. |

| Who really cares though? Loll, Everybody, Do You! If someone wants to attend Ryerson, thats their provocative. Let them " fail " in life. Personally, My dad makes 250 000 and he graduated from ryerson. I go to UFT , and I think that all of my fellow UTSG classmates here SHAME ON YOU. Your making the stigma that UFT people are snobby assholes stay true.. We are the ones in UFT , so who gives a f***. You guys are ridiculous. Why Argue, if UFT grads are sooo much better, why are you on this site trying to prove something that has nothing to do with your own life? .. Northrop Frye would be dissapointed. GO RYERSON! GO UFT! EVERYONE BE YOUR OWN PERSON. Im not gonna feel bad for what YOU do in YOUR life. so who cares? |
