| Yes U of T may not require really hight averages to get in, but thats because only St. George has like 55 thousand undergrads. We accept a lot of people to FCUK them over, to motherfuck them. But then, once you're in, the program is very competitive, great professors, great resources, etc etc. those who get in with low averages are delusional and are guaranteed to die at u of t. |

This is funny. Was that in your dreams?
Anyways, McGill is #1. That's for sure. You need like a 95 to get in McGill whereas an 80 will be enough for UofT. You will be taught by famous profss at McGill, whereas yhou will be taught by McGill rejected TAs at UofT. |
Ur comment proves you know nothing about universities in Canada. How can you possibly know that TAs at u of t are rejected? One: u of t is the top in Canada and everyone knows that. McGill is still a very good university, but everyone knows, OVERALL, the university of toronto is better. Two: U of T physics does accept people with 80s because they can accept a lot of people, they have space. If they limit it to a high mark (and oh 95 is a LIE no university requiresz a 95 FOR ANY program) then they will have not enough students to fill the spots. Three: Everyone kknows that demand and competition at u of t is VERY ihgh because of the large number of people (similar to asian countries). Dont put down universities mindlessly due to previous loyalties. |

McGill and UofT are about equal overall. UofT accepts people with low averages because they have a lot of space like you said then all the losers drop out, so UofT gets free money.
Also, McMaster Health Sci (NOT LIFE SCI) is about 95. I've seen people with higher get declined since they don't only look at marks for this program, it's the most competitive in Canada. Next to that, theres McGill life sci and UBC life sci which is about 92-93 to get in (it increased a couple % this last cycle). Oh, Queen's commerce is pretty competitive too, need a 90+ average, really good essays, some ECs... |
