Top Canadian Universities

Hello, I am from the US and I was wondering What the best CS universities in Canada and how they rate against leading universities in europe. I was also wondering how difficult it is to get into these schools (as in from the US) thanks a lot and I am sorry for wasting your time if there is a similar post (I couldn't see one)

Europe has very few top CS schools, with the exceptions mostly in UK, Germany, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. There are several good schools in Canada, the best are UofT and Waterloo. McGill has a good graduate program. Canadian schools aren't difficult for Americans to get in (McGill is the exception) because few Americans come to Canada for university (McGill again the exception). Some other schools have good CS specialties like security and game design, if you don't mind spending 4 years in Ottawa or Calgary. There is a good school in BC but I can't remember its name.
