I'm a Chinese student with a bachelor's degree in computer science. I want to go to Canada for my further study.
My undergraduate GPA is 78/100, but I'm in a 3rd class univeristy.
No work experience, no research achievement. Has a education budget about 50,000 canadian dollars.
I hope I can get some work experience after my study in Cnanda, before back to China.
Should I go for a college or a univeristy?
Which colleges/univerisities do you recommend?

P.S. Do you know SUPINFO in Montreal?

thx a lot

You should definitely go for university, especially if you intend to return to China afterward. You can earn a master's or a graduate certificate at a university. I also think if you get a college credential in Canada, it will be a valuable asset to have regardless. Even if you attend a community college, you will still pick up new material as technology is constantly changing. If you can get into a university for grad school, you should go that route. Else, college is okay too. Your budget depends on where you attend. Major cities have higher costs but if you are fugal you should be fine with $50K for about 2 years.

College is for losers. Period. You will be the laughing stock of life. You will lose any friends you once had other than other losers like yourself. You will always be a "college loser" out in the work world. College has NO respect and is for complete idiots only. Anyone defending college is definitely a college loser themself.

Yes you can. Your GPA isn't amazing but it isn't bad. Depending on your TOEFL score you could be competitive. Without knowing that score it's hard to recommend schools (usually 80+ is necessary, 90+ for some schools).
